What is all this talk about bromances: who, what, when, how: the questions everyone has answered here

Whenever the two are together, it is as if they are little kids again. Big smiles spread across their faces, they cannot control their laughter, there is a certain look in his eye, and a different person emerges from the boy you knew before.

This, my fellow reader, is called a bromance. A bromance defined by Wikipedia is a close but non-sexual relationship between two (or more) men, a form of homosocial intimacy.

The word Bromance is a combination of brother and romance. It was originally coined by author Dace Carnie in “Big Brother” Magazine in 1990 when he referred to the sort of relationships that develops between skaters who spent a great deal of time together.

Basically it is as it sounds, the two are in a deep relationship, but without any sexual contact.

Guys in bromances typically have to see or text each other every day. They typically have known each other for a long time. They share immense love, respect, and affection for each other and they are not afraid to show it. They show their love by wrestling, hugging, and walking very close to each other.

A bromance is nothing to be scared of, or worried about. Once girls start worrying about the bromance and forcing their significant other to chose, they will learn the hard way, it will not be them.

Bromances are something guys keep for life. When asked, they would rather live with their bromance guy than get married most of the time.

It is very similar to a female and her best friend that she has had for a while.

The only difference is, a bromance may cause their guy to always bring him up, around on dates, and text him more than he does the girl. The things he does in a bromance he cannot do with a female. Many men believe females will not understand.

Believe it or not, men do not go out searching for bromances. It just happens, almost like destiny.

Once it happens, it will take more than a female or a small fight to break up their bromance love.
