Halloween is just around the corner and who doesn’t love a good scare in this spooky season?

So, I brought you some good recommendations of movies to watch before, during or after Halloween. Whether you like to be scared to death or you just like the Halloween vibe.

Halloween Saga:

I’m sure we are all familiar with the name “Michael Myers”, and we all have seen at least one of the Halloween movies. If not, this could be your chance to do so. This franchise primarily focuses on Michael Myers, who murdered his sister Judith Myers and was committed to a sanitarium. There are 13 movies to watch in this franchise: Halloween 1-5, Halloween: The curse of Michael Myers, Halloween H20, Halloween: Resurrection, Halloween (2007), Halloween 2 (2009), Halloween (2018), Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends.

Hocus Pocus:

If you are the kind of person that doesn’t like to be scared, there’s always good Halloween movies that you can watch without getting scared. I think a good option is Hocus Pocus, a classic Disney movie that follows three witches that return to the modern world from 17^th century Salem after they are conjured up by a group of friends who must stop them before they become immortal. In 2022 Disney surprised us when they announced they would bring back these 3 witches in a new movie. Hocus Pocus 2 brings back the 3 Sanderson sisters again and it is the job of three high school students to stop them before it’s too late.

The Conjuring Universe:

The Conjuring Universe is a 9-movie universe that features different stories and characters in each one of them, but they are all connected to one another, in this universe we can find movies like: The Nun, Annabelle, The Conjuring and The Curse of La Llorona; the most significant ones being The Conjuring 1 and 2 and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, these movies follow some of the most famous cases of Ed and Lorraine Warren a couple of paranormal investigators. Most of the movies are based on real life cases that Ed and Lorraine investigated throughout their lives.

Nightmare Before Christmas:

This movie is a classic Tim Burton movie, Jack Skellington who is bored of the same old Halloween tricks, discovers the spirit and joy of Christmas town he decides to bring that holiday to Halloween world and to take control of Christmas by kidnapping Santa Claus, but he just brings chaos to both holidays. The nice thing about this movie is that you can watch it both on Halloween and Christmas.
