The Volleyball team tied for third in Districts.
The Hornets were ranked fourth going into Districts, and came out placing higher.
“Our District seed was based off our record, and not off what teams we played. I don’t think the other coaches put that into consideration,” head coach Katie Dowden said.
At Districts, the Hornets won their first game against William Chrisman, and lost their second game to Park Hill South on Oct. 25.

The Hornets finished their season with a record of 12-15-4.
“We played hard this season, and we peaked at the end of the season, right before Districts which is always good. It shows an improvement throughout the season,” Dowden said.
